MEET Aryeh B. Bourkoff

Aryeh B. Bourkoff is the founder, Chairman, and CEO of LionTree, an independent investment and merchant bank, with expertise in advising and investing in companies and entrepreneurs across the media, entertainment, tech, telecom and consumer space. Aryeh has advised on high-profile transactions in the digital media and technology space, working in partnership with CEOs, creators, and investors to seek to build and shape industries over the long term.

Over the past decade, under Aryeh’s leadership, LionTree has built a global M&A advisory, capital markets, and asset management businesses, seeking to empower its clients to navigate complex opportunities and drive long-term growth, leveraging thematic advice, strategic insights, capital resources, and an expansive global network. Prior to founding LionTree, Aryeh spent 13 years at UBS, where he rose to Vice Chairman and Head of Americas Investment Banking. Prior to UBS, Aryeh was a high‐yield research analyst at CIBC World Markets and Smith Barney

Aryeh serves on the boards of Nobu, Yahoo, Gagosian Gallery, the Fund to End Antisemitism, Extremism and Hate, and Carnegie Hall and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is also a Trustee of The Paley Center for Media.

Aryeh is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego.
